Artist’s Laboratory Theatre presents “Hootenanny and Pie Auction,” a fundraising party held at Cheadle Farms on April 30 from 6-9 PM. Tickets are $20 ($5 for children 10 and under), and include a BBQ dinner, drinks, and dessert, along with entertainment, and a “celebrity” pie auction. Cheadle Farm is the home of Appleseed Farms, located next to Ozark Natural Foods. Parking is available at the Ozark Natural Foods at 1554 N College Ave.

In addition to food and drinks, party- goers can kick up their heels at a traditional southern square dance taught & called by Willi Goehring from Fayetteville Square Dance to the live old-time string band music, as well as participate in lawn games, such as a Three-Legged Race, Horseshoes, and more. During the party, pies made by local “foodies” and chefs will be auctioned off. All proceeds from the fundraising event will go to support the theatre’s diverse and innovative programming, which includes community-centric, handcrafted theatre, a radio show (Sunday Night Service) on KUAF 91.3 Public Radio, and outreach programs for adults and youth.
