These guys are suckers for a good time, and they’re bringing an all-new, original, live-sketch comedy show to downtown Little Rock. Red Octopus Theater presents “Octopi in the Outfield,” the company’s first show of 2019.

“Octopi” is a loosely baseball-themed sketch comedy show “filled with nostalgia and laughs,” according to a press release. The troupe plans to discuss T-ball, online dating, new parents and the struggles of public teaching.

The cast features Courtney Beard, Alli Clark Howland, Josh Doering, Sam Grubb, Jeremiah James Herman, Anderson Penix, and Jason Willey with special guest, Luke “Ramthor” Rowlan.

Performances are open to all ages, but recommended for mature audiences due to adult language and situations. No reservations can be made, and tickets may only be purchased at the door before each show. “Octopi in the Outfield” is recommended for mature audiences, and children under 18 will be charged $914, according to a press release. Yep, you read that right.

The sketch show is set to run May 16-18 at The PUBLIC Theater, located at 616 Center St., Little Rock.  Doors will open at 7:15 p.m. and the show will start at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for senior citizens, military and students. Remember, child tickets are allegedly $914 (so save this show for a parents’ night out and take the kids to the zoo the day after).
