Into the Woods, an exhibition that celebrates the natural beauty of Arkansas trees, will be featured in the Concordia Hall Gallery of the Galleries at Library Square from Jan. 10 to April 25.
The exhibition will feature drawings by Linda Williams Palmer and wood-turned vessels by Gene Sparling. Palmer created her “Champion Tree” series using Prismacolor pencil on paper, showcasing the largest specimens of the Arkansas species. Sparling used the wood from native trees to create his sculptural wood-turned vessels that provide another viewpoint  to appreciate the beauty of the trees.
