The Fine Arts Center of Hot Springs is hosting an art exhibition, Music & Art, a retrospect of artwork created for the Hot Springs Music Festival throughout its 19 years of bring chamber, orchestral, and choral music to Hot Springs. Hugh Dunnahoe, Carole Katchen, Gary Simmons, and Richard Stephens are represented in this retrospective.

The exhibition also includes artwork by Hal Funston, Janet Gade-Malone, Susan Julie Gonzales, Jeri Hillis, and Owen Hunt that was inspired by musical concerts from the Muses Creative Project, Spa City Blues Festival, Hot Springs Jazz Festival, Hot Springs Farmers & Artisans Market, and 3rd Fridays @ FAC.

SONY DSC3rd Fridays@The FAC concert features Brian Cooper, a concert violinist performing music from Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Modern periods. The concert is at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20. The performance is held in the Music & Art exhibition gallery. Guests are encourage to bring a sketchbook and drawing/painting implements to create music inspired art during the concert.
