Fresh off their win of the 2015 Arkansas Times Musicians Showcase, post-punk band Ghost Bones announce an official collaboration with Little Rock singer/songwriter/producer Bryan Frazier, who will produce their debut full-length album.

Frazier has nearly 15 years under his belt in the Central Arkansas music scene, recording and producing many of his own LPs, EPs and singles and music videos. He currently has a publishing deal with Crucial Music (Los Angeles). His latest release—under the name “The Alpha Ray”—saw him working with Ken Stringfellow (R.E.M., Posies, Big Star) to produce 2012’s “Follow the Ghost” on Thick Syrup Records. Among his production and award credits is the top prize for Best Music Video at the 2010 Little Rock Film Festival.

Fans can get a taste of the new collaboration on Ghost Bones’ official Bandcamp page, where they’ll find one of his remixes  (“Pied Piper (Frazzle Dazzle Mix)”).

“Being in the producer’s chair feels very comfortable to me lately,” Frazier said. “I’m excited to be there in the early phases of writing and recording with this extremely talented, young band.” He added that he plans to “bring out the very best” in Ghost Bones for their upcoming full-length LP.

Ghost Bones are currently on a national tour in support of their self titled EP and will return to Arkansas on Friday July 31 to celebrate their winning of the Arkansas Times Showcase with a performance at Stickyz Rock and Roll Chicken Shack in Little Rock. (Bobby Missile, the band’s co-founder, lead guitarist and songwriter, is no stranger to the winner’s circle, having won the showcase in 2012 with the “Holy Shakes.”)

In honor of the band’s success, Stickyz—home of the showcase—and The Arkansas Times will unveil a new cocktail dubbed Ghost Bones as part of the festivities on July 31st. The specialty cocktail will remain on the Stickyz drink menu.
