CALS Six Bridges Book Festival Presents has partnered with Macmillan and the next Book + Author series for a virtual book club event featuring author Kristin Hannah. Accompanied by fellow author Christina Baker Kline, the award-winning author will discuss her #1 bestselling book, The Four Winds, at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23.

Since its release in February 2021, The Four Winds has become a #1 New York Times Bestseller, a #1 USA Today Bestseller, a #1 Wall Street Journal Bestseller, and a #1 Indie Bestseller. Set during the Great Depression, at a time when the country was in crisis and at war with itself, when millions were out of work and even the land seemed to have turned against them; The Four Winds is a powerful American epic about love, heroism, and hope. Many of Hannah’s previous books have won awards, including The Nightingale and Winter Garden, while The Great Alone is set to be adapted for a major motion picture and Firefly Lane is a 10-part series on Netflix.

CALS is excited to partner with Macmillan for this opportunity to book club members across the country, who can tune in to hear a discussion and participate in the live Q&A. This free event requires registration; sign up for the event at https://cals.org/six-bridges-book-festival/event/an-evening-with-kristin-hannah/.
