The 7th Street Mural Project is kicking off the season with several events to bring awareness to 7th Street art, raise funds for artists’ supplies and help connect artists around the community.

The organization is hosting a spring art market from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 25 in the corridor of 7th Street between S. Park and Coates near the White Water Tavern.

The art market provides a public space where local artists can gather and network with other artists, collaborate together on new projects, and inspire each other and the community. The space on 7th Street “creates a safe, organic space for artists to feel free to express their creativity and share it with others,” according to a press release.

Join the artists for live performances, art demos, workshops, live painting, family-friendly games and activities, an art market, plus food and drinks.

Expect to see artists and local businesses including Judd Mann, Motsy Motifs, She Studios, Rolling Hills Pottery, Man vs Wheel, Art by Dorae, Natures Adornments, Smoke + Smudge, Tanya Hollifield, River Chaos Studios, Rock Fire Designs, Get Warped Weaving, Dedicated Visual Art Studio, Delicious Catering Tamales and Lil’ Kahuna Shaved Ice.

COVID-19 mask guidelines and social distancing will be encouraged.
