Fenix Gallery will open new exhibit “Control” by local artist Ciara Froning on Jan. 15. The exhibition reflects the artist’s ongoing experiments with control and the process of letting it go.

“Control” is a must-see exhibit presenting works that explore alternative image reproduction techniques using substrates that range from raw canvas to resin, according to a press release.

Traditional pen drawings that depict digitally altered imagery will also be on display. Fenix Member Artists will offer their own responses to the theme of control in response to the exhibit.

“Control” will be on display from Jan. 15 through Feb. 29 with a reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Jan. 16.

Fenix Gallery is located at 16 West Center St. Fayetteville, AR. 72701.
