Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas is set to host Boston Brass and Brass All-Stars Big Band with their titled show “Christmas Bells are Swingin’” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 21.

The show will consist of Boston Brass’ unique arrangements of jazz standards, with a touch of their well-known use of humor and personality that the group puts forth into each of their performances, according to Reynolds Hall website.

Boston Brass is a Yamaha Performing Group and has been featured on The CBS Early Show, National Public Radio’s Performance Today and The Great American Brass Band Festival, as well as on diverse albums of their own.  

Their vibrant holiday show, which includes the Brass All-Stars Big Band, is labeled an audience favorite and includes songs from their two holiday albums: “Christmas Bells are Swingin’” and “The Stand Kenton Christmas Carols.”

The all-brass ensemble, which includes trumpets, French horns, trombones and tubas, will perform an upbeat arrangement of holiday classics like the “Stan Kenton Christmas Carols,” “Greensleeves,” “Motown Jingle Bells,” “The Nutcracker,” “White Christmas” and “Christmas Song.”
