Award-winning gallery Art Ventures is hosting “Frame of Mind 2021,” an exhibition gallery reps say “is one such drumbeat in the vast cultural context of Blackness in  the diaspora and its plan to thrive.” It will be on view through March 28.

Last year, the “Frame of Mind” exhibition focused on cultural survival and growth. “Like the drumbeat, art informs us of individual battles won and lost, telling us that we are still here, still connected, still creating pathways to cultural survival and growth,” according to the gallery program. As Art Ventures sees it, this premise still applies to Frame of Mind 2021.

This year’s exhibition features Oluwatobi Adewumi, Eric Andre, Donavon Brutus, Mireille Gracia Belinga, Candace Dolls, Leah Grant, Carl Karni-Bain, Bryan Massey Jr., Joelle Storet and Markeith Woods.

The exhibition artwork may be previewed on the Art Ventures website. Tickets are free, timed and can be reserved here. Attendance is open for public viewing in compliance with COVID-19 guidelines. Art Ventures is located at 20 S Hill Ave. Fayetteville, AR. 72701.
