“Fiddler on the Roof” to stop at Walton Arts Center in April
Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match, find me a find, catch me a catch… Only at Walton Arts Center this spring. The Tony Award®-nominated Broadway revival of “Fiddler on the Roof” will play eight performances April 14-19 at Walton Arts Center.
“Fiddler on the Roof” is a heartwarming story of fathers and daughters, husbands and wives, and life, love and laughter. This classic musical is chock-full with Broadway hits, including “To Life (L’Chaim!),” “If I Were A Rich Man,” “Sunrise Sunset,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker” and “Tradition.”
The original Broadway production of “Fiddler on the Roof,” which opened in 1964, was the first musical in history to surpass 3,000 performances, according to a press release. The show won the 1965 Tony for Best Musical in addition to eight other Tony Awards that year. This acclaimed revival proudly introduces a new generation to the iconic musical adored across the globe.
Tickets for the show start at $40 plus applicable fees and can be purchased in-person at the Walton Arts Center box office, by calling 479-443-5600 or by visiting waltonartscenter.org. Guests can also purchase reserved parking for $7 when they purchase their show tickets.
