The ACS “Premiere” event returns this August to the Ron Robinson Theater in downtown Little Rock, expanding to showcase more Arkansas films. From June 1st to June 30th, the ACS will open submissions for any narrative or documentary short film with a running time of less than 50 minutes and any narrative or documentary feature film with a running time of 50 minutes or more. Submissions will be accepted via Without A Box. This year’s annual August event will take place the weekend of August 24th. Exact dates, events and other details will be announced once special guests are finalized. Last year’s featured guests included actor Adam Driver, director David Lowery, and producer Noah Stahl.

TO QUALIFY
  • Submissions must be written, directed or produced by an Arkansan AND/OR filmed in Arkansas.
  • The film must have been produced no earlier than 2015.
  • The filmmaker(s) must be available for a conversation with the audience after the film.
