Congratulations to El Dorado, Arkansas filmmaker Alexander Jeffery and team for winning the grand prize of $50,000 in the fourth annual Louisiana Film Prize.  The Bespoke Tailoring of Mister Bellamy swept the competition with Stan Brown winning Best Actor. The film was also one of seven films to win the Founder’s Circle award, which gives the filmmakers $3,000 to go towards their next Louisiana film.

The $50,000 cash prize for a 15 minute film is the largest award for a short film in the world, according to founder Gregory Kallenberg.

The top five films receive iTune distribution and are automatically entered into several Oscar qualifying film festivals.
