About the Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra
The Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra (APO) is an arts-based charitable organization in Northwest Arkansas that uses art to connect with people where they are. By introducing art in unexpected ways, APO helps overcome the emotional and psychological barriers that keep people from fully enjoying all the beauty and art NWA has to offer. They aim to cultivate young minds and inspire diverse audiences to experience the orchestra through collaborative partnerships. Since its founding in 2008 as the Civic Symphony of Benton County, the APO has performed large masterworks and pops concerts featuring professional musicians primarily from the Northwest Arkansas region. To date, more than 46 concerts have been performed, and many world-class guest soloists have collaborated with the APO.
