The Misfit Maker Market Closes Out Year with Winter Market

The Misfit Maker Market (MMM,) a group of local artists, makers and creatives, will host a monthly art market on Sunday, December 14 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Fassler Hall in downtown Little Rock. This month’s promotional flyer is designed by Sulac, a visual artist based in North Little. (A copy of the flyer is attached at the end of this document.).
An established alternative to holiday shopping at big box stores and with online giants, the monthly Misfit Maker Market features original art, curated vintage finds, handmade jewelry, and other unique offerings from individual Arkansas creatives.
The art market is free to shoppers. Food and beverages can be purchased from Fassler Hall, who is collecting new toys to hand out to local families. (Please email the Misfits with other individuals or organizations in need.)
Date: Sunday, December 14, 2025
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Little Rock, AR 72202
Co-founded by artists Kristi Crow, Emmy Reynolds, and Gabrielle Vernor, the Misfit Maker Market celebrated its one-year anniversary in October. Since April, Fassler Hall has served as the Misfits’ home venue. On the second Sunday of each month, weather permitting, vendors are located inside and outside in the enclosed outdoor seating area.
An addition to the market has been the mobile bookstore Pocket Dimension Bookshoppe parked outside in the driveway between Fassler Hall and Dust Bowl.
“As vendors ourselves, we designed Misfits to be a welcoming community where our artists feel ‘ supported,” said Misfit co-founder Gabrielle “Vershea” Vernor.
There is a call for vendors each month. Those who are interested in applying for a future market should follow the Misfit’s social media accounts on Instagram and Facebook. Each month a different artist creates the original artwork promoting the market on social media and in printed flyers. A nonprofit organization is also chosen as a recipient for a portion of the vendor fees.
Participating artists are given an opportunity to sell their work on the Misfits’ shelves at Y’allternative Market in Sherwood. Additional smaller pop-up events under the name Misfit Mini Market take place monthly at Community Bakery in Little Rock’s South Main neighborhood and will soon begin in the newly opened creative event space The Window on Sixth Street.
The Misfit Maker Market prides itself on being a market for artists by artists and wants to spread creativity to Little Rock, wherever it can.
