Local women-centric organization to host Halloween festivities
Elder Tree, a project of the 501c3 nonprofit organization, and Spinsterhaven, will host a metaphysical fair and Halloween dance on Oct. 26 and 27.
Friday night will feature a workshop called “Tarot and Other Card Readings: Method, Meaning and Use as a Metaphysical Tool” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. There is a $10 donation to Elder Tree as the event cost and includes the Halloween dance, which starts at 8 p.m. If attendees wear a costume, admission is only $5.
Join Elder Tree on Saturday for an all-day fair from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This includes workshops, individual card readings with three gifted readers, and artist sale, according to a press release. Come for all or part of the day. Snacks will be provided. For more information about the specific events of the day, as well as the guest readers, check out the Facebook event page.
