If you are starting to miss concerts and shows, Walton Arts Center has launched two programming initiatives to bring our community together and connect patrons to the performing arts virtually.
heARTs to homes is a weekly webcast produced by Walton Arts Center that airs at 6 p.m. every Saturday on the nonprofit performing arts center’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. Episodes are available for 24 hours after they air.
Each family-friendly episode features performances by artists and arts organizations along with recommendations of other online performances that viewers can watch during the week and arts activities the whole family can enjoy.
As a way to support NWA businesses, Walton Arts Center is also partnering with several local restaurants each week. Viewers are encouraged to order dinner from a featured restaurant and plan an “arts night in.”
Each week’s episode will focus on a particular theme. The April 25 show will have a jazz focus in celebration of International Jazz Day on April 30. Information about each episode’s featured performances and restaurants along with links to related content will be updated weekly at waltonartscenter.org/hearts-to-homes.
If you are looking for entertainment options throughout the week, visit Walton Arts Center’s Virtual Stage. This curated list of digital performances is available to help you connect virtually and experience the performing arts at your convenience. The page is updated weekly with new performance opportunities and resources.
Walton Arts Center lobby is currently closed to the public. If you have questions, contact the Walton Arts Center Box Office Monday through Friday 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at 479-443-5600 or at info@waltonartscenter.org.
