Psycho Adorable entrance the crowd at Fayetteville Underground
WORDS / HOLLY TALLON
This last Saturday Grandma Kelsey and Lionsweb, together forming the duo Psycho Adorable, visited the Fayetteville Underground as a part of their 10-week tour across the country.
The night started off with a fun, upbeat performance by the just-as-lovely Dana Louise of Air Loom. Dana, as she likes to say, “brought her living room” to us and made us feel comfy and at home. She can also rock that dance-groove, wanna-get-on-the-floor beat.
Grandma Kelsey (Kelsey Swope) hails from Idaho originally, but Lionsweb (Bronwyn Leslie) is an Alabaman native. Both women make their home base in Boise, Idaho. With Grandma Kelsey’s earthy, folksy voice and Lionsweb’s strong, force of nature of a voice, the two come together to present a haunting yet entrancing performance. Both ladies were also wonderfully kind and down-to-earth and we are so glad to have gotten the chance to meet them! We wish them the best on the rest of their journey.
This wonderful show at the Fayetteville Underground was brought to us by the wonderful Roger Barrett.
