Both are accomplished artists.  Kelley resides in central Arkansas while Anna, an Arkansas native, currently lives in Scotland.  According to Anna’s artist statement, she likes to create pieces that confront the everyday of her surrounding environment.

“Her works are intimate so the viewer can become immersed without sharing.  A strange dichotomy exists between the ordinary and the fantastic in her work that can be likened to a hallucinatory effect.  Her works often take from the optimistic ideologies of subculture; pseudoscience, hobbyist, and urban dwellers and includes their interpretations of the world and how they seek to address feelings of anxiety or sometimes isolation.  Other representations of her work seem to have no vestiges of human- kind, a first, and a singular experience where the sublime exists regardless of human aide.  Tanner’s work have in common a subtle nature that asks the viewer to meet and to offer some of their own experience in their viewing.”
