Batesville Area Arts Council presents “Signal Lost” exhibition by Joe Ford
The Batesville Area Arts Council is pleased to present Signal Lost… artwork by Joe Ford. The exhibition will be on display at the BAAC Gallery on Main, 226 E Main St, January 10 – February 25, 2017.
Joe Ford is an artist and professor of digital design at Arkansas State University. An Arkansas native, Ford is a graduate of the MFA Studio program at the University of Illinois. Ford is also a recipient of the 2015 Artist Fellowship Award for Sculpture/Installation Art from the Arkansas Arts Council. His current work is a third person, passive and slightly bemused look at the near future, surveillance and our complicated relationship with technology.
The gallery reception for this exhibition will be held on Friday, January 20, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., with a brief artist talk at 6 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. This exhibition is sponsored by Citizens Bank. Gallery hours are Tuesday – Friday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
