Arts Center of the Ozarks brings fresh lineup to welcome February

The Art Center of the Ozarks has curated a lineup of events guaranteed to chase away any winter blues and bring some pizazz to the beginning of 2020.
ACO CHORALE / Jan. 27 at 7 p.m.
The ACO Chorale will resume rehearsals on January 27. New attendees should arrive at 6:30 pm for a quick audition. This year’s music selection includes numbers from “The Greatest Showman” as well as classical pieces. The final concert will take place on May 2 at 7:30 pm at the Arts Center of the Ozarks. Tickets are on sale for $10 and can be found here.
INTO THE WOODS / Feb. 7, 8, 14, and 15, at 7:30 p.m.
INTO THE WOODS / Feb. 9 and 16, at 3 p.m.
Tickets are on sale for Into the Woods, James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim’s quirky take on classic fairy tales. The musical follows a baker and his wife and their struggle to conceive a child, Cinderella and her longing to go to the ball, and a little boy named Jack who just wishes his cow would produce milk. ACO’s production is directed by Julie Gable who is one of NWA’s “People to Watch” in 2020. Tickets are $30 and can be found here.
ARTS RISING / Feb. 29, at 7 p.m.
Arts Rising: Once Upon a Gala is an event designed to celebrate the local artists in downtown Springdale. Arts Rising serves as an avenue for the public to invest in their community and support local creators. The event will feature food, fine wine, entertainment by artists, and the opportunity to win prizes. Tickets are available for $120 and can be found here.
