ArtChalk Arkansas Festival to celebrate “The Spirit of Arkansas”
The ArtChalk Arkansas Festival will be a two-day event held in the Argenta Arts District in North Little Rock and will celebrate “The Spirit of Arkansas.”
The outdoor ArtChalk Arkansas Festival will be a free, all-day event featuring Arkansas artists creating works of art with chalk along the sidewalks of the Arts District. Activities include music and stage entertainment, children’s chalk area, food trucks, a beer garden and Arkansas-based vendors, according to the University of Arkansas Alumni website.
Proceeds from this event will go to support the Central Arkansas Alumni Chapter to serve and connect the University of Arkansas Alumni. Each year, the Central Arkansas Chapter supports seven University scholars through these scholarships: Capital Chapter Endowed Scholarship, Gibbs Capital Chapter Endowed Scholarship, and Chloe and Paul Langston Capital Chapter Endowed Scholarship.
The kick-off reception is slated for 7 to 10 p.m. June 7 at Arkansas Regional Innovation HUB. Tickets are $50 per person, and the suggested attire is business casual. It will feature Arkansas Artists and their works, a silent auction, great food, a signature cocktail, and entertainment.
