There has never been a time in Elizabeth Koerner’s life when she wasn’t interested in fashion. Koerner learned how to sew at a young age; the artform is a part of who she is.  She studied fashion and had a small studio for a time, then transitioned into interior design, and has since found her way back to fashion. Between fashion and interior design, Koerner has always been mindful of creative expression.

Koerner’s faith-based inspiration guided her to create her “Elizabeth” collection, which is themed this season as “Better Together.” She uses her line to show how valuing differences in silhouette, color, texture, pattern and the fabric’s hand can have wonderful results, mirroring how, as people, respecting differences and being curious about each other’s stories can result in wonder and transformation.

“My favorite and most memorable part about my design journey was my first runway show with Northwest Arkansas Fashion Week. I continue to find each step of this current design journey with EMERGE inspiring, and I am learning and growing as an individual, a designer and a contributor to this wonderful Northwest Arkansas community.”
