Hot Springs fine art galleries have hosted monthly Gallery Walks each month since August 1989. For the first time ever in April, the tradition was continued as a virtual Gallery Walk in order to continue the event while adhering to social distancing directives to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Hot Springs galleries are once again preparing videos to highlight the exhibits and artists in their gallery for the May 1 Gallery Walk, according to a press release.
The Hot Springs Area Cultural Alliance will feature the videos on their website. The May virtual Gallery Walk will be available for viewing beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, May 1 and will remain available on the site through the end of the month. Viewers will be able to experience all the creativity and beauty of Gallery Walk from the comfort of their home. The April virtual walk will be available to view online until April 30.
