Amazeum and Markham & Fitz partner to present virtual chocolate tasting experience
The Amazeum and award-winning local chocolatier Markham & Fitz have partnered to bring the famed Amazeum After Hours directly to the visitors with a virtual chocolate-tasting experience during Valentine’s Week.
Explore the sensational, sweet science of chocolate from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11 through Zoom. Hosts Lauren Blanco, co-founder and CEO of local chocolatier Markham & Fitz, and Meg Benedetti, Amazeum educator and chocolate connoisseur, will guide your sensory exploration of some of the world’s finest chocolate. The partners-in-cacao are providing an at-home tasting kit featuring five full-sized Markham & Fitz chocolate bars (including a limited-edition Valentine’s Day exclusive), plus palate cleansers.
Each kit serves four people, and they will be available for curbside pickup at the Amazeum from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 9 or 4 to 6 p.m. Feb. 10.
