As the seasons change, many are looking to shift from a summer wardrobe to a fall closet. However, with the unknown of Southern heat it may not be time to fully commit to the cool air fits.

One option to make the switch to not only have flexibility, but the sustainability of a community closet that can be found in the Fayetteville-based shop The Library Vintage.

“Both a vintage store and membership-based community closet, The Library is for everyone who wears clothes,” owner Meg Carpenter said. “Everything is for sale and you do not have to be a member to shop at the store, but members are able to rent multiple items at a time, wear them, and return them to the community closet for an unlimited amount of times for the duration of their subscription.”

With the tagline “Hot People Share Clothes,” below are a few fall outfit ideas that can help in “reducing waste and building community through sharing clothes and resources at the shop.”

Layered Up

Can’t make a decision? Then keep on layering up! Purse after purse brings a pop of color to this look. The striped flowing skirt blends well with the lace trimmed top. With the sheer material, layering a blazer on top can help heat you up in the fall or take it off to cool down in what seems like an extended summer day.
