INTERFORM is proud to announce Northwest Arkansas Spring Fashion Week (NWAFW) at Ledger in downtown Bentonville. NWAFW, INTERFORM’s largest fundraiser, will be bigger than ever this season with collections from Project Runway designers, engaging panel discussions and the area’s most talented local designers.

By offering education and skill development in sewing and design, preserving cultural traditions, engaging the community through showcases, and creating economic impact. We use fashion as a tool to celebrate diversity, support individuals, and expand the notions of what is possible for our creative communities.”

INTERFORM is an arts & culture nonprofit organization that provides professional development, education and programming to the local underserved creative community. In 2016, founder and CEO Robin Wallis Atkinson rebooted Northwest Arkansas Fashion Week to create a true reflection of the local community by initiating a space focused on diversity, equity and inclusion.

“With needle and thread, we weave a tapestry of empowerment and creativity,” said Basana Chhetri, Sr Director of Fashion Design & Apparel Education. “Our program embraces all skill levels, from beginners, advanced to fashion design; infusing cultural heritage into every stitch. Fashion showcases, mentorship programs, and collaborative projects unfold, showcasing the talent and resilience of local seamstresses and designers. This fundraising campaign breathes life into our vision, supporting courses, exhibitions, mentorship, and community engagement. Together, we stitch a design of skill, culture, and connection that transcends borders and celebrates the rich creation of our diverse community.”

The shows include three thematic evenings with a focus on Community, Art, and Industry.

Thursday, March 28th, will be the Future of Fashion Fundraiser, focusing on supporting INTERFORM educational programs including free sewing classes, workshops and entrepreneurial support. The evening will also feature runway shows from Project Runway Alumni as well as regional designers.

Friday will focus on arts and culture, featuring designers Alynwonderland, Rulli Torres, and Korto Momolu, with a focus on creativity, art, and avant garde designs celebrating the art of fashion.

Saturday evening will focus on the intersection of fashion and industry and will feature designers such as Asthon Hall, Nakota Style, and Brittany Allen.

An on-going partnership with Walmart Beauty brings together globally recognized brands such as Procter & Gamble and L’Oreal Paris in collaboration with Walmart Fashion and Health & Wellness to produce interactive beauty activations
