Creation > Invention
I could not hear their orchestra
as I’m afraid a child was laughing
I could not hear their bombs
as time was ticking
I could not hear their cars so vainly
roaring, and parking and beeping
as the heart of a gray lone field mouse’s heart is beating.
A young man by a lady
simply knows to be enamored
this is a lesson seldom needed taught
much the same an unlearned oak
when fallen in a wood
knows when his time has come to simply rot.
