The June Exhibit at Justus Fine Art Gallery will feature new work by Dennis McCann, Michael Francis Reagan, and Tony Saladino, along with a selection of work by Michael Ashley, Mark Blaney, Mike Elsass, Robyn Horn, Dolores Justus, Sammy Peters, Andie Roberts, Sandra Sell, Michael Warrick, and others. The opening reception will be held on Friday, June 6 from 5-9 p.m. Exhibit dates: June 6-30, 2025.
Intricately rendered pastel drawings by Dennis McCann will be showcased in the June Exhibit. The featured pieces depict homes and buildings from a previous era, but within a contemporary context. McCann earned B.A., B.S.E., and M.A. degrees from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. His work has been included in numerous regional and national exhibitions, including Art Basel/Spectrum, in Miami, FL, 2016; the 59th Annual Delta Exhibition at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Art in Little Rock, AR, 2017; 2019 RAM Invitational at the Fort Smith Art Museum in Fort Smith, AR; the 2019 National Exhibition: Reflections in Pastel in Little Rock, AR; Dennis McCann: A History, solo exhibition at the Laman Library Argenta Gallery, 2015; and many others. Along with participating in more than 200 exhibitions, McCann’s work is also included in many private and corporate collections.

A selection from Michael Francis Reagan’s “Paintings of Quietude” series will be displayed in the Summer show. Born in El Dorado, Arkansas, Reagan earned a B.A. in Art and American Literature, along with a M.F.A. from the University of Arkansas. He also served in the U.S. Navy and then with the Peace Corps at the Ivory Coast in West Africa. Reagan has worked as an artist and illustrator for more than 40 years. Reagan’s illustrations and paintings reflect his love of nature and have been featured in many notable collections including: The Map and Atlas Museum in La Jolla, CA (the museum owns 225 of Reagan’s original maps); The Library of Congress; The National Park Service; The National Zoo; The Peace Corps; The Nature Conservancy; Tampa History Center; The National Archives; San Diego Zoo; Alleghany Trail Alliance; Heifer Project; Ducks Unlimited; Jane Katcher Collection of Americana; Florida Wildlife Initiative; Napa Valley Appellations; Architectural Design Guild; Freer Gallery; Christie’s; Patagonia; The Coca-Cola Company; McDonald’s; and American Airlines. Clients have included National Geographic, Smithsonian, The New Yorker, Audubon, Outside, Harper’s, On Earth, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Architectural Digest, Travel & Leisure, Orion, Bon Appétit, and South Dakota Magazine. A series of Tony Saladino’s expressive abstract paintings will also be highlighted in the Summer Show. Saladino’s work has been included in many notable public and private collections including the collections of Tyson Foods, Bicardi Limited, the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, the University of Wisconsin, the University of Dallas, the Museum of Art and Archaeology of the University of Missouri, Texas State University, Wichita Falls Museum and Art Center, the National Museum of Fine Arts in Hanoi, the Museum of International Art in Brazil, Fort Worth Library Foundation, MD Anderson Hospital, Seaton Medical Center, and others. His work has also been featured in many articles, reviews, and books including: The New York Times, Southwest Art Magazine, The Artist’s Magazine, American Artist Magazine, the Best of Sketching and Drawing by Rockport Publishers, Enrich Your Paintings with Texture by David Band of North Light Books, along with many other publications. Saladino earned a Bachelors of Science from Louisiana State University in New Orleans and currently resides in Hurst, Texas.
